Happy Easter!!

Julia made her first appearance at Calvary last weekend at The Table (Calvary's Saturday evening gathering), since we function better in the evenings and thought the smaller crowd might be a nice way to begin to acclimate Julia to church. She slept the entire time.

On Easter weekend, we decided to risk the madness of Sunday morning, and it was a wonderful time of fellowship and worship. Julia was able to meet many more friends, and she was very cooperative again (even opening her eyes occasionally!!). I think she already understands how important church is to our family, as she has made it very easy for us to spend a bunch of time at the church building during Holy Week for several significant events.


And Julia was appropriately dressed in her cute bunny socks!!


Adorable secular symbols notwithstanding, it was a wonderfully meaningful weekend of events at Calvary, to remind us of Christ's sacrifice on the cross for us. Christ is risen!!
