About visitation...

We've had a few of you ask about visiting us here in Danville, so here are some initial thoughts:

--We are doing OK emotionally and psychologically right now, so we aren't desperate for folks to come to comfort and support us. We'll let you know if we get there.
--We are sufficiently introverted (at least Kate and I are, though Julia's personality remains a bit elusive) that we don't necessarily want a steady stream of visitors.
--We are basically rule-followers, so we would ask that any visitors respect the hospital policy of no more than four visitors at one time and no visitors under the age of 5.
--This isn't the sort of situation where we'd really like surprise visitors, as things are sufficiently complicated that we'd like to be able to anticipate any visitations and plan accordingly.

Within those parameters, though, we'd certainly welcome anyone (that we know!!) in the general vicinity of Danville to visit us, if you'd like to stop by and love on Julia a bit. So, if you'd like to come, just shoot us an e-mail, and we'll let you know what will work best.
