EGG HUNT:
Our church organizes 10,000 eggs each year! The girls had a great time on a beautiful day.
EGG DYING:
They were remarkably better at the process this year!!! :)
EASTER BASKETS:
Caleb's plastic food included a carrot (bunny theme) and meat (Caleb theme)!
The girls were soon engrossed in reading the Easter books
I had pulled out...
I had pulled out...
I.LOVE.THIS. :)
EASTER FAMILY PHOTOS:
We had less blood, sweat, and tears involved this year to pull off some photos together...whew!
EASTER BASKET HUNT:
Aunt Diane and Uncle David pulled off a surprise for the girls in our house -- apparently, a long-standing tradition within their family is to start at the end of an unraveled ball of yarn and wind your way through the house until you find your basket!
There were the instructions...
...then the hunt...
...then the gleeful discoveries!
Thanks for the fun, Diane and David!
EASTER DINNER:
Then we had even more family (my dad as well as my Uncle Paul and Aunt Beth) join us for an Easter meal...YUM!
You can't see it very well, but the middle decoration is a beautiful little nest with eggs that Julia made for me out of clay in art class...
we'll be pulling it out each year!
Some wonderful family memories in the midst of the most wonderful news -- He is risen. He is risen indeed!
