We had a fun holiday weekend surrounding the 4th of July this year. (did I really not post this yet?!)
We headed downtown for State College's annual 4th Fest, and took advantage of free hotdogs AND free birthday cake (plus scoring a spot in a nearby secret free parking lot made our whole experience, yup, FREE! We're celebrating freedom of all sorts on that day, aren't we?!).
The girls enjoyed their hotdog picnic...
And Julia enjoyed trying her hand at golf AND mini-golf, while Eliza watched nearby...
Julia also got to head up the hill to Harvest Fields to see her first fireworks with Chad. We don't have any pictures, but let's just say "She liked them." :)
Then, on the 5th, I had the awesomely fun experience of singing the National Anthem at the State College Spikes baseball game with my friends Kim and Lynn, while many family and friends came out to support us. Here are some pictures (with our groupies in the stands behind us)...
...AND a video!
And we got to snap a fun family photo while there, too. What an awesome night!
