Recent accomplishments...

.
We continue to be amazed at the development of this little person entrusted to our care.  God was incredibly creative (and funny) when He figured out how kids would grow!

Here are some of our favorite recent moments...

Peek-a-boo!
She now plays this all by herself...

Fisher Price fun:
Sometimes, you just don't have enough hands...

SO big!
We tried this several months ago, but whenever we said, "How big is Julia?" and tried to pull her arms up, she would tightly snap them into her side, as if to say, "Not very big at all!"  Now, she's all about it!

Favorite Hang-out:
This silly box continues to be one of her very favorite places to play...

Daddy's least-favorite game:
Very similar to the secret word on Pee Wee's Playhouse...
(although, amazingly, Julia matches pitch pretty darn well!
And for a LONG time...)

"AAAAAaaaaaaahhhhhh!"

And...First Words!
Yup!  She's progressed beyond "Mama" and "Dada," and has moved onto:
 "Dog"... (or "dah-gah")
"Done"... (or "duhh!")
...and the one that came first, which is our personal favorite...
(in action as she said it over and over again below)

"NAP!" (or "nnnnaa!")
(We are totally telling the truth here!  She's done it several times...)

Each day brings something new with her...I'm so grateful to have a front-row seat to it all!
