It's official!

Well, as of today...it's official!!!

(that's Julia holding the keys to our new house!)

We'll move on December 2nd.  SO GRATEFUL for this amazing, overwhelming blessing!

One of the things we're just ridiculously excited about is the garage -- we gleefully moved in the double stroller, Chad's golf clubs, and some sporting equipment within the hour after closing.  It will be SO NICE to finally get those out of our cars! :)

Here is Chad's post from Facebook today, to sum it up...  :)
After giving a check for a large sum of money to Citizen's Bank, along with a commitment to assign our eighth-born child to a life of indentured servitude as a bank teller, we were thrilled to close on our new house today. And our first act of enjoying the expansiveness of our new digs was symbolic and profound. For many years, my golf clubs have been nomadic and homeless. They've lived for a season in every closet of our house, until a more strategic item for that particular closet displaced them. They've spent more time in the back-seat of my car than any human being has, especially absurd since I play about three rounds of golf per year (cue the tears shed over unnecessarily compromised gas mileage). For a few months, Kate and I slept with the clubs in our bed, using the head covers as pillows. And last year, we placed the sand and pitching wedges in Eliza's crib, both to buttress the structural integrity of the crib under the intensity of her crib jumping and because there was simply nowhere else to store them. So, today, in an emotional act of declarative celebration, the golf clubs entered their new home, where golf clubs should live: in a garage!! Here's the family, enjoying this momentous occasion. And, yes, Eliza is holding the 7-iron, already working on her short game...
More pics to come soon, I'm sure!
