And today, the conversation I overhear (after a special visit by Fireman Rusty at preschool) is, "Eliza, I'm writing down in my book that you want to be a firegirl when you grow up. I asked him if girls could be firefighters and he said, "YES!"
We'll see what the future holds (and possibly be praying for a happy medium...).
