Christmas 2009

.
We had a wonderfully sweet and relaxing Christmas this year. Christmas morning was spent having my dad come over, and exchanging some fun gifts with each other...

There was his favorite Vitamin C drops and a webcam for dad
(from all the sisters -- for him to keep up with his out-of-town grandkids!)...

The one missing playbill (The King & I) for my collection from Chad...

And a "Jesus saves/shaves" mug for Chad from me... (don't ask)

We enjoyed being in our home with Christmas decorations and music playing all day.

Then, off to Lancaster for some time with Chad's extended family. We spent one day with the Miller clan...complete with the group-sing of the Hallelujah Chorus (a yearly tradition).

Other highlights:
  • Another day was spent with the Oberholtzer side of the family...which we forgot to take any pictures at.
  • Lots of good time was had just hanging out at Chad's parents' place with his sister's family...again, with absolutely no pictures to show for it.
  • And we even got to have a morning get-together with Jim and Amber Kolmus and their 3 kids up from South Carolina...somehow STILL forgetting to pull out the camera! (and they do a blog and a yearly photo book just like us!)
Ah well...there's always next year to be camera-diligent! :)
